The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

Since my fun days at Tau Phi Delta, and finally graduating in Marketing, I've been savin' trees - and killin' bugs ! I'm now "semi"-retired, living in western N. C., near 3 national forests, on the Tenn. state line. My son, Clark, lives and works in the Raleigh, N. C. area, in the eastern part of this state. Carol lives in Oklahoma, and my sister, Janet, maintains our parents' home, - on L.I. Upon graduation, and after the Army, I worked initially for Bartlett Tree Experts, in N.Y., and then the William Esty Advertising agency, in N.Y.C., and then moved down South and worked in the exterminating and horticulture and lawn care industries, including Orkin and Terminix and TruGreen/ChemLawn, and being self-employed in both industries, using insecticides, termiticides, fungicides, miticides, rodenticides, herbicides and other pesticides. (It's a good thing I'd studied chemistry at Mont Alto!) In my spare time, now, I enjoy hiking and hunting - and fishing, with my son. I keep in touch with a few other alums (from both Penn. Ste - and W.H.S. !) and have visited the campuses occasionally. It was nice to see "Big Jack" recognized, posthumously!) I'm excited about he new Arboretum at the Main Campus Forestry School!
